1. As a seller: Offering combined shipping must be set independently on eBay.ca and eBay.com. You need to log in to both sites and change the settings. It is not inherited or copied over for you.

2. As both a buyer & a seller: The invoice a seller sees is not the same as the invoice a buyer pays when GST/HST-exempt and GST/HST-eligible items are included in the same invoice.

Screenshot of what we see when we go to pay. Note different amount of sales tax and different total.

3. As a buyer: The invoice you see in your Purchase History page may not be the same invoice you actually pay on the Checkout: Review Order page if one or more items were Cancelled from the purchase.

Purchase History showing correct # of items and total

Checkout: Review Order invoice showing the Cancelled item added back in to the # of items and total.

Thanks for this little tutorial. Just learned why buyers were having trouble combining my BIN listings for payment.

Does anyone know if, when a seller offers combined shipping, does the seller still get charged the 30 cents per item PayPal charge or is it just 30 cents for all items shipped together?

@punman - it's 30c per paypal transaction so if the buyer makes a single payment of a combined invoice there is just the 1 charge.

So I guess then, that both the buyer and the seller benefit from combined shipping.
