The forum is under pretty Serious Spam Attacks. I hope Bobby can show them the door pretty quick. life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved

Yup,I noticed around 4:30 AM today. Now it is even worse. I was wondering how Bobby goes about fixing CCF and what if anything he can do to the spammers? John1  |

Yes, at first I was wondering whether the forum had some bug but then realized all these threads come from two members, one called hyiv-something but his posts seem to have been removed, the other one is galcd8259 who has now 196 posts, all from spam. I hope Bobby has some button to remove all posts by galcd8259 at once, that would quickly solve the problem. Update: It seems that another spam account has emerged under the name of glmoq2429. No doubt that once banned the people behind this will create new accounts in order to keep spamming the forum  . Second update: Actually, there seem to be more spam accounts than I had thought at first. I've identified those accounts (all founded today) as spammers: * hyiy408 (86 posts) * eqsog9447 (290 posts) * bkewhu8977 (1759 posts) * galcd8259 (196 posts) * nvuq6179 (1 post) * glmoq2429 (12 posts) Other accounts which haven't posted yet but seem to be made by the same people for the same purposes in case the other ones get banned  : * hrhnrpe1789 * fpvoruqo1850 * pzxfd1198 * qwvrc113 * zbzd644 * sikqyqp3010 * wip7647 * pmbxy7047 * hvo3573 Edited by TheCoinDom

This would have no effect as such a ban on new accounts could obviously not last forever and once it would be taken down, the spammers would certainly make a comeback. It seems now that the creation of new spam accounts have stopped, but still in the last half hour "bkewhu8977" was capable to create around 90 new "threads". This account has actually reached the 'Pillar of the Community' status. |

Spam Bots. All from the same IP in S. Korea (take that with a grain of salt). Cleanup will take a while.

ebay fake coin makers strike back... We are at war.. The issue of having a popular site. I hope it is solved, I enjoy the community and hope to do so for many years to come.

Cleanup took 5 times longer than it should have because people feel the need to post in the spam threads. I don't know how many times I've posted about this but it's sad that people with thousands of posts that have been here for years don't have the sense to just leave them alone.
