Earlier a post was made "Is this a ladder note?"

Unfortunately, the note in question was not actually a ladder but it made me think about a note I bought for about 1/2 price back in 2009 (during the stock market meltdown).

A typical ladder note has a serial number that either ascends (goes up in value) such as 1234567 or descends 9876543. Another type of ladder radar exists. These can either be ascending/descending radars (such as 1234321) or descending/ascending radars (7654567).

Well I was very happy to buy this descending/ascending ladder radar note!

interesting, my initial re-action is no its a three digit radar, but I can see it having addition ladder value.

Although, I can see a traditional ladder note collector not wanting this note as part of their collection.

Cool not tho.

If I may ask, how much you paid..

Question.. Is the Original indication on the holder equal to EPQ and PPQ on the PCGS and PMG holders...

Nice note @johnnysprawl the borders are little un-even, but very nice never the less.

Yes I believe the "original" designation on a BCS holder is similar to the EPQ or PPQ designations for the other TPG's

Bingo!

- Not to mention it was sold in the USA (& I felt compelled to repatriate this classic to Canada)

Wow, firstly I love the BCS note, those types of errors make me satisfied! also love the Z/B note. something about that year appeals to me as a non-currency collector!

Could it be that the portrait of King George VI is placed in the centre of the note (& is on all the denominations but the $100 -Macdonald & $1000- Laurier)? I like them as they're an inexpensive "cousin" of the 1935's (my favourites) with the fancy allegories on the reverse and because the first signature combination (Osborne/Towers) are indeed hard to get. Speaking of which:

I guess this is not a true rotator note as I'm told the ones don't qualify but still an interesting serial number
