Thank you guys for your time and input!I'm happy to see that this topic took a different turn as the first replies made me question my decision,in fact I stil cannot understand how someone can come up with a decisive opinion so fast and without an argument.I'm surprised that no one assumed that I might be a guy that makes forgeries and is trying to test you but it's not too late!!
Did search a bit but couldn't find any 1809 50 cents looking like mine!
Should I understand that the context of my purchase is a clear sign of a forgery?Really?I've been collecting coins for 20 years now and I've dealt with all kinds of people so I tend to notice when someone is acting. The seller, who was not and english native, nor am i,was complaining about his car's engine making a funny noise while I was explaining to him that the A mintmark on his bavarian thaler comes from Amberg!I could have bought the 50 cents coin for 10£,in fact I could have bought the coin that I went for cheaper since he was clueless about numismatics!Feel free to contest that coin too,it's the last post on the world crown topic!
From my experience, numismatics is the business of ''you never know''.I was ''rewarded'' for my dedication with great coins that came to me at 20% of their real value quite a few times. In UK collectors mostly focus on english and ancient coins, everything else is less collected.I totally agree with
Jadey on this one!
I admit that I should have posted better pictures along with the weight and diameter in the beginning,it would have saved alot of energy.Judging a coin soley on some pictures can be tricky,i had my wrong calls in the past and probably submitting the coin seems like the best thing to do now.Thank you once again!

paulCT, I wasn't sure if the coin was fake just from your photos in the first post, but your second post convinces me that the coin is fake.
