Before I send this back on my 100% money back offer, I wanted to get a second opinion, I think I'm starting to learn.

I can see myself in this thing, the back shows the mirror effect better.

It has very light and very narrow cart wheel. Looks like a possible slider to me, as folks define the term.

What do you think? Over dipped? Slider both, proof like or non of the above.

Coin looks MS to me. Maybe 62 or 63. The main hit detracting is to the right of star 6 and to the left of the tip of the nose in the left obverse field. I don't think the coin is prooflike because I don't see enough contrast between the devices and the fields.

The coin exhibits a great strike given the detail of the hair above the ear, especially for a New Orleans minted coin. The coin does not look frosty, not because it was polished, but I think because it was struck with fresh otherwise known as early die state [EDS] dies. This is desirable and would be a great coin but for that one hit between star 6 and the nose.

This is an inexpensive common date coin. I would return it for a cleaner example with less chatter which would not cost much more, but that all depends on what you paid for it. Coin has some great attributes but the hits and chatter make it a catch and release situation to me.

To me it's on the MS/AU border.
I'd have to see it in hand before rendering even a reasonable opinion.

It doesn't look over-dipped in these images. I agree it does look like a slider that would grade (likely) low MS.

I'm going to get a second set of pictures, it really doesn't look like this coin in hand.

This is a different camera, and see what I mean about that pasty reflection? Anywhere you see orange on any of these is just a reflection of thumb drive, I had it in hand the whole time.

I agree 62 or 63.
A bit more PL on the reverse, than the obverse.

Looks like it was cleaned to me. Pics with different lighting may help.

I don't see any signs of circulation. this is one would be better to grade in hand, the 82-O is known for average strike, I think this meets that standard. MS63 may have been lightly cleaned. PL is questionable

Ok, I did not run these through the image optimizer, these are shot outside daylight and overcast in a light box defuser with no additional lighting.

I don't care for the coin. It fails the "Do I like it?" test.

Regardless of the grade it has a polished/cleaned appearance and is a low value Morgan to begin with. Find one you like for $40, they are readily available.
