1) The 2018 S proof ASE went to "CU" a couple of weeks ago...remains there 158,761 (plus the LESPS set) is a decently low number for a proof 2) Just informed that, after being on sale for only two weeks, the 2018 $1 Innovation proof has also gone to "CU" after only 79,723 also a decently low number \...not sure if this one is a temporary lack of items or for real...

Quote: not sure if this one is a temporary lack of items or for real... If it's for 'lack of item' wouldn't that make it a sell out since they're not allowed to strike anymore?

By "items" I was referring to available product. It could be a packaging rather than a coin issue (could have struck 200k+ already) BUT this could be an interesting key coin to the coming series if it is really sold out.
I will vote "Sold out"....

Couple returns will probably pop up here and there but most likely sold out otherwise.

OK...so much for that. Innovations buck back on sale as a backorder...available for shipping 2/28
SO it WAS a packaging issue...

Go figure. Seemed like an oddly low number for them to sell out so quickly. Grabbed a few more in case they don't last until the Apollo coin is released.

At least the SF proof ASE is still unavailable. I also grabbed a few more but I think they most likely had the presses going for some time and just need the packaging to catch up. One good thing is that it's not a $50+ item that your grabbing a few more of...$6.95 is OK

Just an FYI for those who are into grading stuff... There is a decent price increase potential for the Innovations buck with the First Strike or Early Release labels for a few reasons 1) the early unavailable status took quite a few by surprise and the next coins won't be shipped out until late February 2) the low product price didn't interest very many dealers who assumed there would be unlimited supply from day one. This is obvious by the zero pre-sales of graded bucks 3) With the extreme open space on the obverse if you are lucky and get a 70 grade I will predict these will be in the $100+ range....but even the FS/ER 69's might sell for $35-$40 All bets are off after this week as the ER/FS dates will end next week and non-FS/ER slabs will be everywhere after the next release in late February Just a suggestion....I'm submitting some decent looking PF's tomorrow along with some more light finish RP Kennedy halvesEdit: re: the 2018 S proof ASE. Still currently unavailable...this sucker is done

Thanks for the info Fox. You may have something there with the ER/FS designations. Those collectors sure do love their labels.

Just under 40,000 more were sold since they went to backorder status and none of them will be eligible for FS/ER labels
