Bcuda. Don't count it completely out until you've checked them all. I've come across sealed boxes of BU with older dated coins mixed in. They have been light on Ws, but not completely absent. Although it was maybe 1-5 maximum older date quarters per roll. I'd still go through them all I did find one W slightly curculated, in a box of circulate quarters also.

Yesterday I picked up two rolls of quarters from the casino. These were 2019 W AMP P's in NFSTRING wrappers. There was 1 Lowell W in there! So I've officially found the first two designs. 48 AMP Ws, 1 Lowell W.

All AMP Ws I've found were in Loomis wrappers, this Lowell W was in NFSTRING wrapper which now has me speculating the Lowell Ws went to a different armored carrier in my area besides loomis, maybe brinks or Guardia, and not Loomis.

Changes up my game plan for the hunt... I was thinking this was a possibility, this find helps confirm it that In my area the FED is using multiple armored carriers for distribution and I have to guess that 1st shipment with Lowell went to some other carrier, 2nd shipment with Amp W went to Loomis.

Still no 3rd shipment yet with the War in the Pacific Ws.

Well now time to talk to my host at the casino about doing me a solid for a box of new quarters to stack up on Lowell Ws..... lol.

I went back to the very same bank 3 days later where I got my lucky box loaded with W quarters. Got another box of $500. Loomis, stamped a little, May 29, 2019. And this box was mixed circulated. Even the same bank gets shipments of uncirculated and circulated boxes.

Sorry for the bad luck bcuda. Go to a different branch. All the boxes I have been getting I am unloading at the same branch so I can get them from the other branches. I have one dump branch.

Nice going Big-Kingdom! I also went another bank entirely and got a $160 in quarters, Loomis, AMP D mint marked. Not a single W in the mix. It seems to be hit or miss with the Ws even in among the uncirculated rolls.

Yeah guys, feeling your pain. Got 2 rolls of nf string AMP from the casino yesterday hoping to get another Lowell W but not 1 Lowell in either roll.
I definitly got dead rolls when I found amp W. First box I think was 13 of 50 rolls that had 1 or more Ws. 2nd box that had them was about 25 rolls with 1 or more Ws.

Very possible with a couple hundred dollars to get bu rolls without a W in them although the law of averages says you should get at least 1W from 10 rolls or better, there's always exceptions of course and just a string of nothing.

My box for this week was circulated again. I'm about 1/3rd of the way through and just nothing interesting so far at all, not even a random 2009 showing up yet. I'll get through it and dump them, maybe pick up a box of pennies or nickels to seach this weekend for a change of pace. I always find something interesting in those unless I get stuck with a new BU box. Hahaha. Want them can't get them, don't want them, all you get..

I'm finding the circulated mixed boxes of quarters to be very boring, indeed! There are very few modern varieties to search, no silver, no key dates. I don't consider 2009-2012 dated quarters to even be semi-key dates. I'm not really sure why people keep those.
