just started collecting not too long ago. I came across this 1961 penny and I think I see some errors can anyone help

The lighting here makes it very difficult to evaluate this coin. Possibly some die deterioration. Tell us what you see that appears unusual.

@m89, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree with the frog--not sure what you are seeing with the coin in hand. At first I was thinking that those lightning bolts were pointers, but now I'm not so sure. Maybe a little die deterioration? Maybe a die crack in Abe's hair?

The tops of the motto looks like die deterioration (Die wear)
