This must be a lighting issue. The first picture doesn't look like the second in that area.

I recreated the image angling the light... it is a lighting issue. NOT DD.

Sorry, I was talking about my post... the orange circled area in particular. At first I thought it was a different design variety or maybe a DD. I think it is just a lighting issue.

Ok yes I see that now--sorry for my confusion. My interpretation was that the OP posted several close-up pics to better show the entire coin rather than just posting ones that exhibited a specific region of interest.

Extra images are nice but some commentary about your thoughts to go with them are helpful.
We can speculate all day about your pics but need some guidance as to what your questions are.

EDIT: If you are referring to the lines emanating from the center towards the rim, those appear to be die flow lines caused by an older die showing signs of die deterioration.
