*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. Titles are Important! ***

What do you guys think ok this one. It almost looks like an S slightly to the north under the d. There's also a slight doubling in the rim from a misaligned or tilted die possibly. Thank u for your help in advance as always you guys are appreciated. I tried getting the best angle. It most of my cents are BU red and the lighting never allows me to get a good shot.

@VB, for sure I see what you are talking about, but I really don't think that this is a OMM.

Ok thanks guys. It just stuck out as odd and thought I'd ask. I'm going through a bunch of 50's and 60's BU so I'll probably have more questions today!! Enjoy your weekend!

Thanks for the help Everyone. I am going on variety vista and wexlers first so I'm not just throwing things out there. I don't want to waste any of your guys time for sure. I just really appreciate hearing opinions from the experienced on here. I look forward to learning from you all. I know it's a sin not to take them out of the 2x2 before pics but the air here starts spotting and toning my BU copper really bad if I leave them out long. Don't know if it's the humidity or what.
@E&V does it look normal as to deterioration or just nothing pops out? I'm just trying to learn not being rude or anything just leaning how you guys evaluate and what you look for.

Yet the lower serif is split so it is some minor RPM of some sort either way.

The last pic does show a split serif, could be damage, could be rpm, I don't know!

It couldn't be an D over S. Why? Because they didn't have that punch any longer, because the San Francisco mint was closed in 1955. So that would be impossible.
