Hi, I'm new to coins and I happened upon this quarter while washing clothes at the laundry mat. I know it's a Minnesota parks quarter from 2018 just by comparing to others. I have been told this is a strike error and then others have told me it was ground down which I do not believe. I have not weighed it against any others but I have held them together and they are the same width and circumference. The edges are also pretty straight whereas other quarters have a slightly rounded edge. Mine is missing the whole front of the quarter and the back only has the duck but nothing else other than the very tippy top of the 2018. Let me know what y'all think. Regardless I think its pretty cool.

Damaged coin by use of tools. Great picture taking. Improper way to hold a coin.

Believe those who told you it was ground down.
The fact that it shows reeding but has no rims verifies that.

It's been ground down. Interesting--I'd drop it in a 2x2 as a fun specimen. As for how to hold this particular coin properly, I think you get a pass.
