1898 Barber Quarter Rotation? - Coin Community Forum

Gravy McButterso New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 03/19/2020 11:50 pm A few questions for you like-minded friends: 1) Is this a normal color for a Barber quarter? 2) How do you calculate rotation? I've seen different ways that contradict and wonder what is accepted. 3) Do I have anything unique here? I rotated top toward camera, and the book corner can be used as reference. All depends on how you measure the rotation ....cw or ccw. Value? What ever someone that collects this stuff is willing to pay for it. Probably not unique. If you can search through enough 1898 quarters out in coinland you'll probably find other ones. Oh, by the way .... .... to the Community! A normal 1898 quarter in Very Good (about the grade for this coin) is common and would sell for maybe $10. This piece is likely worth significantly more. I like it!
