Almost didn't spot this one. Wish it was less circulated, but happy to find it. Second mintmark is at arrows. Totally separated below the primary mm. Thanks for looking, Jim Edited by desertgem 11/06/2008 10:22 am

Very nice! I find one of those out of every 5,000 or so 1956D cents I see. Far less common than either of the OMMs for the date.

Here is another example of one. You might check to see if the location of the mint mark is the same. But it looks close to the previous example. The lighting Don't show the full date.

The Second mint mark is really hard to see. It's only visable at certain angles. It was difficult to take the pic. The mint mark is in the same location. Thanks

Nice, they are hard to photograph! I had to angle mine just the correct direction or it was difficult to get the photo. Easier to see with the eye!

what about this? that white little bit was some speck that blew off right after the pic was taken. Shadow MM is in the same spot as the previous examples. Image: 0.jpg82.97 KB

Well the MM is in the right location maybe a little further west than the other examples, however you may have to direct the light to cast a shadow across the second MM.

Jedichef,
That is a little tough to tell for sure, as sometimes it is just surface problems in the right place. This is one hard one to photograph if it isn't high grade. I often try rotating the coin in the light until you see the best image. You can always rotate it to normal viewing before posting.
