A close-up, high resolution photo of the obverse would be very helpful. Please crop the photo to include just the coin. Thanks.

Looks like another dime was layed on your coin and smacked with a plastic hammer or rubber hammer. That would leave the crease from the rim of the other coin, but yet not damage the you coin. PSD. Done to make it appear as an error coin, when it was damage on purpose.
