I cherrypicked this off eBay a little bit ago. Needed to get some photos and thought I'd share. This is an upgrade for me on a very tough one to find in MS grade. It'll be off to PCGS eventually when I get a chance to put together another round of things. I'll post the grade when I get it back, but feel free to take potshots at what you think it will come in at. 1941 Lincoln Wheat cent doubled die - DDO-001, FS-101

Wow! I knew you said you got a nice one, but dang! Make sure to treat that obverse spot or PCGS will kill the grade. MS65RD w/o spot, MS63RD w/ spot.

A very nice cherrypick for sure! I acquired this variety in VF30, when I purchased, in my youth, $50 face Wheat cent bags for $99. Congrats on a nice red, uncirculated Lincoln cent DDO-001!

Thanks everyone for all the super kind comments! As for the spot, yeah, I'd like to do something with it but I'm not a coin cleaner and while I own a thing of VerdiCare I'm not really even sure how to use it. Doubtful this one is where I should start to learn such things. I was wondering if the PCGS conservation treatment would deal with such a problem. And yes, Stoneman was getting a kick out of knowing I was pacing my office (it's carpeted) between the time I spotted the cherrypick and the time the auction ended, and then again while waiting for the mail to arrive days later. One's like this don't come up super often and just an anxiety fest not knowing if you'll win the auction and then whether the seller will actually send you the coin in the photo on ebay. But it all ended well this time.
