It looks like the 'United States of America' is doubled on the rev of this penny. Also it looks like the date and mint mark are doubled. Am I seeing this correctly?
What you are experiencing is lighting glare. Ultra shiny cooper cents are a royal pain to photograph because of this glare. Try using a diffused lighting source (like daylight) fight the glare.
I see Machine Doubling. (Also looks like you are using double lighting. OK on full images shots, but a single light allows the light and shadows that micro photos need.
Coop, Here are 3 new pictures in low light of the 2018 penny. The following two pictures include another 2018 new penny that doesn't have doubling. In the 4th picture there is a 2018 new penny on the left and the questionable one on the right. The last picture is the questionable penny on the left and the new one on the right. I took the last two pictures to show the shadows different from different angles. Thanks for looking and your input.
If this were a doubled die, the EPU would be showing a reduction in the size of the devices. The United States would be enlarged: I'm not seeing any enlargement/reduction on the incuse devices. That is what we should be seeing on your images.
