It's old and looks like water damaged? I'm no expert though so I'd wait for someone to lose to chime in

Very damaged from being circulated, environmental damage. Not an error or variety. John1

@baby, the heavy wear from use has worn away at the copper plating and exposed the underlying zinc layer (which is grey colored). This one can be spent safely.

With mushy devices and the copper scraped off,looks like it was a Dryer Coin to me.

To me it looks like the rim was sanded. If it were a Dryer Coin, the rim would be moved towards the devices and the coin would be reduced in size. I'm not seeing that on this coin.

I thank you all for your feedback and would like to give further information the coin does not seem sanded nor water logged the fill of the coin to me is like detailed really well but almost feels raised on Lincoln and the building almost as if they were placed not stamped also the words are flat on both sides of coin but also look set not stamped into the planket

If not sanded, how did the plating get removed on the rim? It was there when it was struck.

Larger, high resolution photos would help eliminate ambiguity. With the images posted, it looks like a well worn coin--possibly abraded--with zinc (discolored) showing.

Badly damaged, Dryer Coin, sanded, ground, however it happened it is just damaged.
