It's really too bad this dime wasn't seen before it got so tore up. This would have made a great collector.

The left-most flame tip actually has three tips...not all touching the original (can't get it to film correctly). There are extra materials, extra flames, and the letters are all over the place. What a missed opportunity.

Looks like it was struck from a tired die. As the cost of ownership is low, you could consider keeping it as a good example of VLDS.

Not sure what your seeing. Theres a few die cracks, die chips, Machine Doubling, worn die and circulation.

Looking again at the OP's dime, it is also a polished die to remove Feeder Finger Damage. How can I tell? The flat polished fields:
