Hi all. Not exactly sure what I'm looking at but it seems to be a doubled rotated 1 in the date or a die chip. It is raised and the same size as the 1. Any help or info appreciated

Thanks merclover. It looks like either to me but most likely a die chip. I'll see if I can get a better pic if not it's just a die chip

Yes, just a small die chip. Not all that uncommon place for a chip on a 58. I've found a handful that looks like that.
