I just wanna touch everyone one of those coins lol. . Unfortunate news to hear about your grandpa. That looks like I interesting set of coins there. Oh and . I would start sorting it out based on type coins to see what you have. Then I would make a pile of the random coins and start reading about each one to see what it is and the value. Lots of information here so post your photos and questions in the appropriate spots and try and enjoy the history.

Write/Excel spread sheet by denomination, date, mint mark, and quantity of each.
Some items will be worth face value. Some will be worth precious metal value (melt value). Some will have a numismatic premium (rare or grade value).
DON'T CLEAN ANY OF THE COINS.
DON'T SELL ANY.
Post good pictures and ask for value - there are, hundreds of collectors on this site willing to help.
Sorry for the loss of your Grandpa.

Lol @samsnate.... yes, I started doing that but omg there is so much! I was my grandfathers favorite lol so at the reading of his will and opening of the bank lockbox I was shocked and when my cousins found out they were mad lol.... do I care No! Bc I am the one who always checked on him up until he passed! As I looked through these coins I found receipts from the bank that says uncirculated on Morgan Half dollars, Dollars, liberty coins and alot of wheat pennies, I even found 2 silver pennies from 1943.... was weird I thought it was faded lol, dont know much about these! But I guess I need to learn! Thanks for your reply!
