In god we trust is a The D in god I tried to get a better photo but to me it looks like under the D it has a rounded part that breaks and finishes on top of the D. the G looks wrong on the inside of the G. The T's on all of them are way off. So options are appreciated Thank you
I'm thinking Die Deterioration. I have a few tubes of circulated '55 P cents showing Die Deterioration like yours, and progressively worse. Also, check for die cracks (cracked skull) and the 'poor man's doubled die'.
Your coin is an example of a VLDS die state showing a lot die wear. With the 'L' on the rim and the IN on the rim, it may have been an example of a slight MAD strike. Not a premium for the coin for either. The bottom of the devices on "GOD" are showing Machine Doubling on that area. (Looks like the MD was in a direction that affected just those devices) But several of the other bottoms of the motto, are flattened from circulation damage. Just a Wheat cent.
