In god we trust is a The D in god I tried to get a better photo but to me it looks like under the D it has a rounded part that breaks and finishes on top of the D. the G looks wrong on the inside of the G. I have a few tubes of circulated '55 P cents showing Die Deterioration like yours, and progressively worse. Also, check for die cracks (cracked skull) and the 'poor man's doubled die'. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/27/2021 12:23 pm Your coin is an example of a VLDS die state showing a lot die wear. With the 'L' on the rim and the IN on the rim, it may have been an example of a slight MAD strike. Not a premium for the coin for either. The bottom of the devices on "GOD" are showing Machine Doubling on that area. (Looks like the MD was in a direction that affected just those devices) But several of the other bottoms of the motto, are flattened from circulation damage. Just a Wheat cent.
