Grape - why don't those marks on the 1807 appear in the first pic?

Quote: Grape - why don't those marks on the 1807 appear in the first pic? Scratches on the holder, has to do with angle of lighting. Quote: other than ugly Ben Point me to a pretty one and I'll buy it. Quote: Fantastic! Thanks! Quote: GREAT looking set. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed building it, though it's nice to have done. Means I'm one step closer to finishing out the set. By my definition of a type set I'm only missing 15 coins, though those 15 coins are quite pricy.

Quote: Lovely coins! I especially like the Barber. Thanks! I actually think I paid full greysheet retail for it, but considering the excellent eye appeal I think I did quite well. Quote: Very well done and a tip of my cap as a fellow collector. Thanks! This is the second denomination I've completed, and if it weren't for paypal holding my money for no reason I'd have a third done... Quote: Grape - Got it, thanks.

It is interesting how much lighting, etc. can come into play with photos and coins in general. When I saw the initial picture of all 11 coins, I have to admit - being completely honest here - my thought was meh. But your individual pictures really show off the beauty of each of these coins and my initial thought was completely reversed. They are fantastic and what a set! Beautiful; congratulations and nice work!
