Wanted to see what you all think of this 1821 Capped Bust quarter. I think it grades at F12 or so.

I'm closer to VG10 on this one, due to scratches but would straight grade it not details, they are sufficiently worn down enough to barely show. This age of coin it is market acceptable as well.

The reverse is about a VF20, the obverse no higher than F12. I think looking at it, it would get a grade of F12 overall.

I'm at F-12. The circulation cameo gives it good eye appeal, and I think that nudges the technical grade to F-12. Nice looking coin for the grade.

I'd go along with F-12. I'm bothered by the lack of a face on Liberty however. Seems like most bust coins need to wear down to Good or lower in order to lose so much detail in this area.

Doesn't matter if you purchased it, inherited it, found it on the ground in a parking lot. The point is you acquired it through whatever means and Smat45 was congratulating you on your acquisition.
