A Struck Through Grease would not show raised areas.
Just some sort of damage.

Intentionally simulation of grease. We start to see this more and more.

To understand: Look at the rim on Liberty and opposite side (reverse) it is polish. the grease strike has nothing to do with the rim.

Looks like a it was an outdoor coin that was homeless for a long time. Worth face value only in this condition. Not a keeper.
