No, just damaged. Looks like it has been gouged.

As you said it is dented. Damage is never an error. If you take a new car dent it that does not make it a "factory error".

Your coin was somehow damaged after it left the mint, so it's considered to be post mint damage, and damage doesn't increase it's worth.

p.s. - never a good idea to hold possible collector coins between your fingers like you were. Oil's from your skin decrease numismatic value.
