That is the big question... is my 1969 s penny one of the ones? Or am I just wishful thinking. Please tell me what you think.

Thank you! I knew it was most likely not, but I just had to ask. The photos were too large it made me change them and the quality went right out the window. They did look much more like a DDO in the originals, but I believe yall are right.

If it were the big one, even images your size would be showing the spread on the devices:
Forget looking at the date on this one. Look at the motto and Liberty:

The spread is huge on those ares. (red arrows on my image)

Probably a multiple thousand dollar coin. (Most of them have Machine Doubling on them, so don't toss them if it has Machine Doubling:

The yellow arrows are pointing at the MD, the rest of the devices are hub doubled. So these affected ones, would be a doubled die, with Machine Doubling. Still a keeper.
