My Mom said I can't buy any more for a while, BUT I got a really good deal on this.

Im going to post seller and True View pics as some of the scratches I believe are on the slab.

Step up and take a guess..... :)

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Great looking coin! Plenty of luster, and some weakness in the legend. Fields are clean as well. I'll say MS65.

Mismatched die states, EMDS obverse and LDS reverse. The reverse die looks like it was acid-washed. I've seen that reverse die before. Quite a few of the slabbed coins come from that die pair. It has pitting at UNITED and a weak EPU. It's important to distinguish the die surface from any contact marks.

The obverse has some small dings, on the chin, behind the eye, and the back of the neck near the hair curl. The fields are superb on the obverse and reverse. Luster is unbroken, and there is some light gold toning, suggesting an old album coin.

I think PCGS might call this MS-64, but if so, it's on the high end for the grade.

Nice coin!

Hair is full and sharp , obverse fields are untouched , reverse corn cornels decent . I'm thinking the the light glare is making the Legend look weak . A few very light scratches ; To me this Beauty is an MS-66 .

In Memory of Butch L.
and Jim U. rest in peace .

Looks like there are enough actual contact marks to preclude a gem grade. The eye appeal is hurt a little by the die issues (even though those are as-struck features) and that should be reflected in the overall grade.

I'd say solid for MS-63, marginal for MS-64.
Decent example of this better-date nickel!
