Was just now poking around ebay looking to see if there was some interesting Dollars up for auction and I saw this. The strike on that eagle is so nice yet some fool decided to "improve" the Morgan! .........

Have we eliminated light superficial die polishing lines?

It's odd - on the reverse, the lines hardly seem to cross the devices at all.

It might have gotten some circulation wear (or pocket piece wear) after the harsh cleaning, or perhaps some of the reverse lines are die polishing. Either way, the obverse is as bad as it gets!

I sent some coins in for grading and my 78 cc and 1894 o plus a few Peace dollars got lost in the mail.
I had insurance on them and just filled a claim though I still hope they can just find them.

Don't know what insurance you purchased but good luck collecting on it .
Pretty sure numismatics sent to a third party grader CANNOT BE INSURED .
We use Stamps ,com and Pirateship and both will not insure .

Keep it in your pocket for a few years. Maybe you can wear off that horrible cleaning.
