Got this in some change today. Very interesting bubbling and little dents on this 2017 dime. It has so very unique "bubble" like texture but it doesn't match up on both sides so it's definitely not an impact dent. Curious to see if anyone can tell me whats up with this coin

@little, first welcome to CCF. Second, yes when we see clad coins with this bubbling, we ascribe it to them having been heated (such as in a campfire).

I agree with Spence and the Frog, most likely this is heat damage. From what? Who knows. Damage is damage, but it's still worth 10 cents.

Nothing at the mint could/would do this. So it is post mint damage. As has been said - heat the most likely cause.
