AU-50, cleaned....but still pretty nice. It has retoned a bit over the cleaning. For $10, that's fair.

XF45 for me. Yes, retoning from an old cleaning, it seems.

VF/Ef Details- cleaned (VLDS)

IMHO, It seems to have a lot of Die Deterioration going on and the color in the face and field are indicators of the cleaning.

The details in the wheat lines, hair and bow tie are almost too weak for EF.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Still looks MS to me (63BN?). I'd love to see it in a holder.

Wow, that's definitely one tired, worn-out reverse die. I'm not really sure what to think here.

another grading study similar to the 25S posted by PNWHiker. those early 20's LWC's are a great way for those starting out learning how to grade. these are quite challenging as you really cant use any grading standard to apply to these.

looking closely at the coin here is what I see

obverse: actual hair detail in the beard, sharp date, LIBERTY and ear. very little wear on the cheek bone. needs to pick his nose

reverse: UNITED STATES sharp, original luster still present, right side of left stalk sharply defined separations.

i do agree with the cleaning as stated. I'm at AU details
