@ready, when coins are struck with overly polished dies then they often lack some detail. For LMCs though, I think that more typically occurs on Abe's bowtie and neck. I'm interested to see what others think on this one.

The devices on the rim is on all of the cents that year, including the proof cents.
Not a full date and mintmark image to compare mimtmark placement. But this maybe flow lines under the mintmark? That is the direction that they would tend to follow. RPM-002 has a double set of lines, not a single line. No images on coppercoins and Wexler doesn't show listing on his site.
