Does not look to be PMD as all features are still there? Seems like a big chip was on the blank when it was pressed? Unique looking coin anyway.

Yes, it's hard to tell from looking at photos but when viewed from this angle I have my doubts.

I never said it was Struck Through Grease, I said it was struck through something. It would have to have been something with a straight edge like a piece of foil.

Yes JimmyD I realise that ... what I was inferring was that I agree with you that it 'may have been struck through something' and also with gxseries in being a 'die grease error' and just combined the two to describe my opinion i.e. a struck through grease error. Hope that makes sense?

could be, check the weight, not foolproof but at least its something (without having it in hand).

Only have cheap scales, weighs between 15 and 16 grams.

Hm, should be 15.55g so it's probably not underweight.
