Found another 1937 P DDR-004 with the die clash in the C of Cent. In the box of "To Do" when I had to clean my desk top off in a hurry for the holidays.

This one looks stronger than the one in Variety Vista and the one I found in Sept. So maybe Stage A? To bad its stained badly.

Looks correct! There are some nice DDRs in that era.

Acetone might help this one. Not outside in direct sunlight though - I have read on this forum in direct sunlight that acetone can give a pink hue to a cent.

I also don't know who took their cents out into direct sunlight to use acetone on them though

Nice. Good on you for providing a link to the variety. I think it should be required from this website, yet so many do not even bother.

Definitely a cl. vi DDR -- hard to tell if it is #4. I think they might have had some inattentive employees during the late 30's, LOL.

Several DDs [and RPMs] during that time.

Thanks everyone. Acetone doesn't even touch whatever the stain is. I'm wondering if its a synthetic varnish from the 1960's. I have a number just like it which are great condition except for the dark coating.
