I think ICG got this one right. I have a few raw coins I am going to send in to NGC, thinking about cracking this one out and sending it in as well. Just want to make sure it will hold grade. What do you all think?

Usual weak NO strike, die clashes everywhere, the chatter and surface marks cap it out for MS63 for me, although TPG's might 64 it based on the pretty decent reverse.

I'm at 63+. I could see 64, but I wouldn't pay 64 money for it.

I agree with MS63 and appears to be a VAM-1F.

I could see it at 63 but think its 62 Looks like there are more marks that are probably not showing in the pics.

63 tops

It's not worth it to get slabbed but that's up to you.

the 83(O) can be soft to average in strike. the obverse strike is pretty good for the year. reverse more typically soft. based on the photos I dont think the luster is broken. looks like a hit in the nose area however its nicely hidden. a little bit of gold peripheral toning starting. she looks like a tweener...between MS63 and MS64.

personally I dont see enough value to justify crossing over. as it has a chance of coming back as a 63 or a 63+

Was not very happy looking back at the original pictures. I was zoomed in too much on my phone and it made the coin look grainy and accentuated very minor marks. For my own mental sake, here are some better photos, in case anyone is interested. Will post the ICG grade in the morning.

With no deep or distracting contact marks, I can see an MS-64 with the new photos. There is a chance at an MS-63, especially with that mark left of the eagle on the reverse.
