We are lucky to have a business post office and a retail post office in our town and both have the coins available

I purchased 2 rolls at my local PO on Monday. $47 per roll. There is a weekly $1000 cash draw for people who purchase a roll. I got the impression the cash draw was in lieu of a different mintmarked or coloured coin. It this true?

No David, the cash draw is in addition to the coloured 'X' coin and it's actually a daily draw of $1000 (9 May - 5 June 2022). All the details can be found here in the FAQ's https://auspost.com.au/great-aussie...hunt#winners

It's suppose to be the southern cross (X).

I have no intention of setting foot inside a post office. Will wait until they start appearing in general circulation.

On Saturday morning I lined up for 25 minutes just to get into my local Post Office and after 45 minutes I finally got to the counter to be served. No wonder there's call for the privatisation of Australia Post!

No wonder there's call for the privatisation of Australia Post! That's why I use a business post office in a near by industrial area. Hardly ever any queues there.

Even more hilarious is Triggersmob sent me these things in a tube with set number 2 and 17 of the first ones. I actually like them and think the designs on the 3rd set look better than the others.
But how many more sets can they make?

Set 17? Wash your mouth out for even suggesting the idea PT. Not funny at all.

DG - it said 17 of the first set, meaning he sent me 17 of the 26 coins from set 1, he kindly fished out of circulation for some needy Kiwi who sent him silver a few months ago. The ACTUAL 17 here Sets 2 and 3, not 17 praise the lawd. Set 17 - wow they would be so bereft of ideas, it would be like A = Tina ARENA (Anthony Albanese was back on set 12) B = Bluey C = Chokka D = Delta Goodrem E = Echuca F = Malcolm FRASER etc...... I am going to send the Reserve bank of Noo Zillund an email, to make a set of these coins for us - we can all find them in our change from buying FUSH and CHUPS. There will be A for Australia, where we ripped off to get this idea for making these coins. And P for Princetane - the mastermind behind this T for Triggersmob for encouraging me D for David Graham for lamenting Australia's 17 previous sets of them.
