Got an old box of coins from my grandparents.
Total:
13 40% halves(1965-1969, mostly 1967)
3 90% halves(1964-P)
1 Undated Standing liberty 25¢(AG)
1 1943-D Quarter
2 war nickels(1943-S, 1945-P)
3 Buffalo nickels(VG-F)(1936, 1936, 1937-D)
1 1912 V nickel
1 Holed 1933 sixpence
What would be a good valuation for it?(I am not selling it, just wondering)

Nothing of great value there.
Most of the value is in the silver content.

Check the back of the 1912 for a mintmark - S would be a winner.

Looks like $78.16 in U.S. silver plus a couple bucks for the rest.
13x$3.32=$43.16
3x$8.12=$24.36
2x$4.06=$8.12
2x$1.26=$2.52

Less than $100 in cash value. Sentimental value: priceless.

Nice collection of mostly silver coinage (including the War Nickels). Lots of sentimental value - which is hard to put a value on.

Grab a thin binder at Walmart for $3 and stop into a local coin shop or hobby lobby for a few 2x2 and binder pages for a few more $. Organize with notes, pictures, stories, and experiences with your grandparents and enjoy the family history. IMO, passing this along will FAR outweigh anything else you could ever do with them :)

Good advice, Collects82. While I sold off all my low-value U.S. coins many years ago, I have a 3-ring binder with 2x2 and currency pages where I have items given to me by various family members over the years, with notes on who each item came from. Minimal monetary value, but something I personally value tremendously.
