I am interested if anyone has seen an error on the reverse of the 2020P Vermont Quarter where it looks as if the girl who is planting a tree has thrown a pile dirt which is not supposed to be there or is this a new error?

Could use some better photos. One full coin photo of the front and one of the back as well as one or two close ups.

I would like to see more images of this for my educational files. Closer views and full image views. Not worth a premium, but always interesting to see images when they do happen.

Could be struck through gritty grease, but we don't usually see such large areas affected. I'd save this quarter in a 2x2 for sure. Also, welcome to CCF!

I think Spence nailed it with the gritty grease attribution.

Very nice example.

This is a really cool error. I'd definitely hold onto it! There are a couple of examples similar to it that have sold on eBay, described just as you have... "girl throwing dirt"
