However, that said, I think that this coin took a hit ling ago, moving the metal around a little and through the years of circulation any sign of the original impact had been rubbed off and smoothed over. I am so new to this and your input helps me understand much more about how Coins become damaged. Just to clarify...I did not damage this coin. The testing I did was on a couple other pennies that are worth a penny. :-) This coin is still perfectly intact. Sometimes when I type it is all I can do to formulate a sentence properly.
