This is a silver melt coin, so the value is increase by the Silver. Note the slight lamination issue on the obverse. They are called A type 2 War Nickel. The difference? On the 1942 nickels you will see the Type 1 and 2 for that year. The Type 2 ended with the 1946 Nickels.
