Hi all, There are some very fine scratches in the hair above the ear and a few on the cheek, as well as on the left wing. Thanks for looking.

Given the reverse, I'll say MS-64+.

I'd say MS-64. The parallel lines on the obverse cheek, hair, and cap are roller marks and shouldn't affect the grade.

 That is one frosty beauty!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Looks like one of nicest GSA Morgans I have seen. Easy MS65 and probably better.

Exceptionally mark-free and frosty. Seems like an easy 65. Great example!

i think there are just a tad too many scuffs and marks to go 65 although close. MS64+

todays knowledge transfer. I had no idea
one thing I've noticed on the site, when grading a lot of folks use the + sign to signify a better than average coin for the grade. me included. if you actually look at the designations they use a star to indicate a better than average for the grade which is about 30% of coins are given this designation. they use a star to indicate better than average eye appeal. they do make the distinction between the two. most folks dont know that a coin could receive both a + and a star
