I found this quarter in my pocket change today. A portion of the R in the word quarter is missing. I am new to identifying what is PMD or not. If anyone can help show me what about this is PMD or not I would greatly appreciate it.

Normally I would say it was struck in grease, then again I see something between r and t which could be a die chip or a hit from something?

I think it's a Struck Through Grease. There is also the Ring of Death on the obverse.

I agree this is a slight Greaser and has overall circulation flattening.
