Got a bunch of these mini gold coins replicas,
can anyone give me more information about them?
Who, why and when they were made?
Most importantly are they real gold or just gold plated?

Size you can see from the pic, they are all about 1cm in diameter, and weight ranges from 0.25- 0.30 grams

Well I did a bit of acid test but for 14k gold and its inconclusive... so it might be lower gold content (8k) or gold plated but I dont have a lower gold test...
Might be wrong tho
As you say jeweler might be best bet. But I thought someone came across these before, because I see them selling online and some even promoted as actual gold replicas...

Most of these "tokens" are cheap tourist souvenirs. Notice that they are not hallmarked or stamped with a purity marker. Why might that be?

If real hood they should have a mark with the gold %, for example I have a 14k .5 gram coin and it has 585 for the gold %
