Good afternoon all. I got a roll of nickels at a convenience store and halfway through looking at the nickels I came across this, which I've never collected or have much knowledge of. But I thought I'd share it with you so here are a few images.....

You are quite fortunate, that is a nice Buffalo. I wonder how often they show up in change? My neighbor just brought me one she found with no date unfortunately.

Ok, I confess. Whenever I go to a coin show, as I roam the Bourse, if I see a table with a bunch of low cost Buffalo nickels and/or wheat cents, I buy them and spend them in change, one at a time. I do the same with getting a stack of 100 $2 bills from my bank, as well as Eisenhower dollars.

Two things happen: first, it makes people happy when they "discover" these "oddities". Second, it just might spur some interest in our wonderful hobby!
