Hiya!

So I this nickel appears to have a RPM or Doubling, but I also see a "ghost S". Do you see it?
I also see doubling throughout (obverse & reverse) and know sometimes this happens with proof coins. but also see there is a double die for this coin. What do y'all think?

Deff looks like rpm possible tho not one listed or that I've seen. Almost looks similar to prrpm 002 via VV tho not quite either. The ghosting on the mm just looks like push damage to me and as for the other " DDO" on the lettering that to me looks like convincing MD

@mj So I feel like it resembles WRPM-004 & WRPM-006 on wexler's RPM; but neither are exact. What do you think?

So theres not a "shelf" as seen in MD's. ill post some more pics with better details for u to evaluate.
Thx!!

here are some clearer pictures. I feel like the N & G are the most extreme.

While the southern part of the mm does sort of resemble wrpm 006, that is a proof rpm. The red zones make me think maybe rpm the white looks shelf like to me.

Here the red arrow does look to me like true traditional doubling the white arrows look very shelf like which makes me think MD.

Here the W does kind is look like true doubling to a degree, the left side of the E does like det die.

Here again the red arrow at the U looks sort of looks like doubling however the white arrow points all look like det die and strike push caused by a heavy strike on the coin

The top part of the mm makes me think it may have a unreported rpm but everything else looks like det die or heavy strike push sadly. If that is the case then it deff calls into question the possibility of the mm being a legit rpm. I have seen true rpms or ddos also having strike push or det die however they usually are not on the same side as the DD. I very well could be wrong just stating what I see.

To be honest now that the liquor has worn off and I've taken another look I don't think it's det die.. it really just looks like it was struck twice which is common for proofs and before the second strike hit it shifted a tiny bit and that's what is causing all of it. ...

I really gotta lay off the drink some times lol I barely remembered my comments from earlier and after rereading them I realized even I didn't make sense to me a couple times hence me editing a couple things lol. It is in vnice condition but in the end to me it looks like the second strike got shifted a little and that's what is causing most of the issues here.
