Hi,

Can anyone tell me what type of coin error this is? It's an unusual one due to the swirls in the center.

It is all PMD. Coin vending machine damage is my guess. Also, please no screen shots, use a memory card in your scope.

Yes, we see a few of these each year. The post-strike damage on the reverse is very likely caused by 'old school' vending machines or rotary coin feed mechanisms--like those found in some nickel arcades.
