I'm not seeing anything on mad die clashes for this Nickel but wonder if it is a small clash. The pictures aren't the best but the coin has some luster and the fields are shiny which is why it stood out to me under normal light and using the naked eye. Maybe it is just little splotches of grease. Would appreciate any thoughts. Thank you.

I'm leaning toward struck through 'gritty' grease. Not clash features.

It seems that a lot of newer coins except cents have this texture, I think it is just grease on the die. So many coins are struck and grease keeps the die from sticking.

We can put a bow on this one. Consensus is a slight struck through. I'll keep looking. #128515;

Unlike the grease strike that affects the devices, the grease with grit in it is so far just on the surface of the fields. (outside part of the die. When wiped down, then it gets into the devices and starts to block the striking on the devices. Only way to fix that issue is in the machine shop when they work on cleaning the die. (Or ignore the issue and the coins will remove it a little bit at a time) Just depends on the machinist.
