Like all treasure hunting its use common sense

I picked up 4 rolls of 1979 50 cents the other week on Ebay - 45$ each , on a hunch that they may be something else - sure enough they were all Double Bar variety, mint condition obviously.

Ebay , like all forums , has some BS to wade through but there are some gems hiding in there if you can put up with the rubbish .

Try looking at gumtree - lots more scoundrels there too , it seem like the con artists are all online these days
