I would say PMD.
You can see on the reverse the bulge from taking a hit.
If it was struck through, the reverse would be normal.
The mark on the "U" looks like a linear plating bubble.

Agee, post-strike damage. One of the more interesting examples. And yes, a linear plating bubble too--U in TRUST.

Linear plating bubble and damage to the coin. Making it a spender. Damage is damage no matter how it happened.
