1943 LWC DDR 10-R-11, Where's The Pup?

At a glance I'd say the right edge of the right wheat stalk is thicker, but not enough to convince me of a DDR. Nice condition!

Unlike some years for DDRs, 1943 is done up pretty nicely on VV. Lots of die markers for most of the dies and easy to use. DDR-010 has multiple die markers shown to compare to your coin. Of note your coin looks like class II doubling to me, not class VI, which maybe would narrow down your search.

I do see the die crack and I've spent much time checking the VV & Wexler's references without results of spotting any relevant PUP's shown in these two sites. It's getting a bit frustrating and admittedly I'm a "newbie" to Varieties. Heck I don't even understand what class II and VI or this nomenclature labeling method applied to Varieties. Since I just purchased 69 different Varieties it's time to learn. By the way John1 is the third reference error-ref.com?

I might suggest, based on your comments and seemingly high interest level, that you read this page on the Wexler site, and click into each of the different classes of doubled dies at that point. Knowing how these things happen and the different classes is really helpful in the long run. Varieties are a fairly steep learning curve in the beginning, but if you have 69 of them sitting around that will shorten your learning time a lot as you have real examples to reference as you go. Of note, the die class for each doubled die is given in the Variety Vista listing. You put in the title of this thread DDR 10-R-11. It's actually the letters "II" not the numbers "11" at the end of that. It tells you that die 10 is on the reverse and is a class II doubled die.
